                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 3625
                   MOUNTAIN CREEK ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST
                   LINE OF MOUNTAIN CREEK ROAD AT MORRISON
                   SPRINGS ROAD FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 3625 Mountain Creek Road,
              being on the northwest line of Mountain Creek Road at
              Morrison Springs Road.  An unplatted tract beginning on
              the northwest line of Mountain Creek Road some 20 feet
              northeast of the intersection of the northwest line of
              Mountain Creek Road with the southwest line of Morrison
              Springs Road (if extended), thence southwest 335 feet
              with Mountain Creek Road, thence northwest 300 feet,
              thence northeast 355 feet, thence southeast 300 feet to
              the northwest line of Mountain Creek Road, the point of
              beginning.  Said unplatted tract being part of the
              property described in deed book 3516, page 109, R.O.H.C. 
              Tax Map No. 108F-B-6 (part).
        
         from R-3 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
